We are thrilled to share the news of Tanner. We just found out we were approved to adopt him. He is 7 yrs. old and in Taiwan where all my other littles came from....
How he came to be....
About three days after Tori came home Trey started to cry.... He wanted to know why we brought a sister home for Tessa and not a brother.... We reminded him we tried for a year to receive information on his half brother in Taiwan. He was much older and the situation was much more complicated. With little info on him after a year we pursued antoher child. Tori....
He gets all that. He loves Tori. They play amazingly well. Very close but when you put Tessa in the mix he is odd man out... The girls play girl toys. Play horses, barbies etc. He just wants a boy he says.... So we told him to win the lottery. He wanted to know how we do that... So we told him... So a few times a week he would ask if we won the lottery yet... NOPE.... So one night I, Joyce checked all the lottery tickets sitting on my desk and we won 11.00 dollars... That was all it took. I left a note for Robert one morning and said. You Lose.... we won the lottery.... You didn't say how much we would need in order to start this process again....So at that point we began all the paperwork chace in order to get ready to choose a waiting child.
I have to say the kicker for me and knew this had to happen once again for our family is when I was tucking Trey in and he said, Mom, you can have my dollar. What would I need your dollar for... So you can go get me a brother.... That was it.... as I came downstairs with tears in my eyes and the biggest knot in my throat I said to Robert. We must start again. We need to give another little boy a great life here with us and a brother who so badly wants him.....
And that is how Tanner came to be. We have not yet received his official adoption documents from Taiwan yet... But should be here any day now.

So Happy... So Much Fun!
Tori drew this picture of her American house while in the car... She wanted me to take a picture of it.... Of course I would. How adorable. She tells me everyday she loves everything in America. Her house, her family, her pets.
Tori has caught the baby doll craze and is loving playing with the babies and strollers... Tessa loves that she will play with her. Tessa is crazy about her baby dolls....
Tori made this out of Lego's
How fun is this??? All the kids love this water slide... But we had to throw it out. The seams are not holding the air. So we joined our neighborhood pool and we swim almost everyday....
What a Bean Bag Crew... Few moments of quiet....Ahhhhhh.
Tatumn loves to dress the girls up in play clothes.
Trey made me this out of Playdo. The one on the left is dumplings he said. They are his most favorite. But he only loves Ms. Missy's the most he says..... Missy is their Tae Kwon Do instructor and she is from Taiwan. I too love hers the best..........

Our Homemade Waterslide!
Tori was a little bit shy about her belly showing a little when I first put Tatumns old swimming suit on her. But that lasted about 5 seconds....
I love this video.....
How much fun are they having????
Our beautiful Tessa is growing up... Hard to believe she has been in our lives almost 4 yrs and still never a dull moment... We would not change her spunky, whitty, bossy , loving personality for anything...
After a hard day at home and Tae Kwon Do this is where I caught them before bed... Snuggled together watching Tori play her Cooking game on her DS.... Love it!!!
How can someone so stinkin cute be so sweet too!!!!
Tori's smile says it all.... Loving life in North Carolina.
Life is good..........
The Aquarium
Video of of the kids favorite part of the aquarium the stingray pond I call it. Where the kids can reach in and touch them....
After waiting for Tori to get up around 10 am. Man she is the most awesome sleeper ever... We headed to the aquarium by the beach. We decided to take Tessa to her babysitters so we could have more time standing and enjoying the tanks and such without running through with Tessa. If you could have seen Tori's eyes when we got further in the building where we started to see all the fish, it was priceless.
We knew from Tori's paperwork she loves ocean life, and she sure does. We were able to get a back door look this trip. Jetia, a friend of my friend works there and took us behind the scene to see all the fish life in the back rooms in tanks... it was so awesome to see baby seahorses, a sea turtle with a curved up shell and so much more.We will head back several times this summer. I know Tori will love that.
