Congratulations Travis!!!!!!!!! High School came and went. Four years in nothing flat. Travis graduated with honors. He was in the top ten of his class. There was 250 ish students that graduated. Travis carried a 3.625 or higher for all 4 yrs... Wish I had done that.. ha ha... He will be attending our local community college for engineering for 2 yrs through NC State and then 2 yrs in Raleigh. We are so excited for his next adventure. We Love You Travis!

Summer Fun

Favorite fun at our house. The water park. We have discovered Trey is allergic to Chlorine in the public pools. Our first try this year was at the indoor pool on the base. About an hour after we got home he started in with hives. He was loaded with them. We kept him home from school for 2 days and gave him benadryl. Poor guy. The 2nd try was at the outdoor pool on base 2 weeks ago. After about an hour they started again. Not as bad. So the outdoor pools are not as heavy chlorinated and the vapors of the chlorine evaporate more. So I guess we will be putting our own pool in someday soon.... We will probably have to us a salt system. Trust me we will try our neighbors pool out first..... He has only been in the pool 3 times and is a fish. Underwater, jumping off the sides and holding his breath.

The first grandchild Tyler gave me has 4 legs.... Thank god it is only a dog.... Her name is Sass. The kids adore her. Lap dog. Ha! Since she is a chocolate lab, she will more likely be 80-100lbs. Much better then a girlfriend right now and surely less expensive. Since Ty lives on his own now he must have needed some noise and action since he no longer has 4 siblings running around taking his stuff. Tyler continues to work a lot at the beach as a Police Officer. Things are pretty busy down there right now with all the tourists.... Lots more action... He loves it....

Travis had a great 18th Birthday! Money,,, and a new XBox 360 since his brother took the other one when he moved out.... Happy Birthday Travis... Won't be long and graduation will be over also... Welcome to the reall world of a job, and college....................

Trey came home from Taiwan loving SpongeBob. Must have been a show he got to watch a lot.

After thinking that we would have brought Trey home by his 5th Birthday we can only say we are so very happy to have him home to celebrate his 6th with.... Trey really enjoyed all the hoolah that went along with his birthday. Of course we had Chinese food for dinner. He wanted dumplings and rice. That is what he got.... Hope you enjoyed celebrating your 6th Birthday with all of us... We love you and can't wait to share many more to come....

Air Show May 2010

Words could never tell how big Trey's eyes were when we finally got to the flight line to start the activities with the air show.... With all the planes flying overhead and all the airplanes, tanks, heavy equipment trucks, he did not know which to go to first. So we started climbing all over the airplanes first. We then went to sit down and watch some of the air show and Trey lasted about 15 mins. He was wanting to go back to climb on the tanks and big tractors. Of course he won... He and Travis absolutely loved it.... It was just the 3 of us and a friend from work and her daughter so it was really nice to focus on Trey's 1st air show. Positive there will be many more he will drag us to in the coming years....
