Our day started with Tori telling me Zao An (good morning)at 6:45 am. So sweet. We made it to breakfast by 9 after all the phone calls and skyping home. By 11am we were off... Tapei 101, ice cream and then to play.. Tori really enjoyed just getting to be a kid today. She loved the small area we went to play at. She held my hand everywhere we went.
I don't know why but these older ones just get it..... they know you love them and they enjoy being with you... She is sooooo loving, so funny, and just so darn beautiful....After playing and such we headed to the A-Mart about 2 blocks or so from the hotel and got her some new cute slippers...I asked if she needed anything else from both social workers and they said no. I brought quite the load of clothes for her, toys, etc..... Foster Mom will have plenty now...We ate Macaroni Grill. Tori chose Fettucci Alfredo with chicken, I chose pep. pizza so we could share and she sure can eat.....

She told the waiter loves american style foods.... Go figure so does Trey.

After that she was back into that tub where she pruned her body for 45 mins. again playing....I don't know if she has ever been in a real bathtub. I have a squeaky clean little girl, that is for sure.

She watched Ice Age in English on the tv with Chinese subtitles and laughed and laughed... She has an awesome laugh. All in all we had a most fabulous day together. She is a very good little girl with the most quirky, awesome silly personality...She fits right in perfectly.

Slumber Party!!!!!!!

Alley Cat Pizza. Thanks Diane!

Since she loves......chocolate. She got to experience her first cup of hot chocolate with Mom.

The makings of a beauty Queen!

Tori could hardly wait to paint her nails and toes. She kept showing me paint her nails at the pizza place.

Five minutes after we were in our room she was in the tub with foam soap, my little ponies and Polly Pockets. Got her all washed up after soaking for 45 mins. Served her her hot chocolate, painted her nails blew her hair dry and wallah...my daughter. Tori was asleep in 5 minutes after I tucked her in and is sleeping so peacefully while I sit here and blog. I have to keep looking at her and can't beleive this is really happening! Tomorrow a fun filled day on our own. Taipei 101, shopping, lunch, ice cream, the cool bookstore and I am sure more... I just wish the weather was better. No sun since I have been here. 50's, rainy, downright... chilly. Although much more pleasant then July/Aug like the last 2 trips...

Beautiful Tori Chih Hua!

First picture after meeting my daughter.

This little gal sure was glad to get off that long plane ride and out of the suitcase and into the arms of Tori. Both were happy to have each other........
Well,,,,,I made it to Taiwan without a single hitch. Becoming a pro traveler.... ha.....at least to Taiwan. Mr. Yeh was there to greet me with a huge smile and a big hug... So nice to have his services once again and to enjoy my trip without worries.... He just has it all figured out...
Mr. Yeh picked me up at 4:30(1-6-11) and we headed over to a building to meet Tori. I arrived about 10 minutes or so before and had a chance to talk with her government social worker and Cathwells(orphanage sw) it was great to learn more about her. She is very interested in gardening.Yeah!!I have one who wants to plant flowers with me.... She came right in and sat right next to me and smiled soooooo big... I reached over and hugged and kissed her to death............. She ate it up... She is soooo amazingly beautiful.I just could not stop touching her black hair and telling her how beautiful she was. She loved it.... We got into the goodies I had in her backpack and painted and opened her Mulan Barbie and she told me I love you!!!!!!!!!!Mama... Her articulation in English is perfect. She does know a few words in English.
Then we all headed to McDonalds. She ordered an Apple Pie first then her cheeseburger kids meal. She ate it all..... The social workers could not get over how she hit it off with me so quickly. They thought she was going to be nervous and anxious.. Not a bit they said. They said they believe she would have had no problems going back to the hotel with me tonight...
We had more time to talk about older children and adoption. Cathwells sw said after you finish adopting Tori maybe I could come back and adopt more waiting older children!!!!!!! I wish... I know this is our last adoption... Feeling very lucky as a family to have soon to be 3 from Taiwan in 6 yrs>>>>>> Now if the money tree grew????? Ha..
So tomorrow I pick Tori up at 5pm and and NOWWWWWWWWWWWW I get to have her all the way until Tues at noon! That will be the day I leave. So I will try to post more photos during our slumber party days.... I am still needing someone to pinch me that this is REAL!!!! I am in Taiwan! And she will be my dughter! My sweet Tori.

Happy Birthday Tatumn!

Introducing Tori Chih-Hua!

I received this photo later on and some of her other photos.... We would imagine this is around 5-6 yrs old... She must be celebrating Christmas Festivities at the Orphanage.... She is soooo beautiful..
The most recent photo we have of her.

This is one of the first photos we saw of her... She always has a smile.

Her smile is soooo perfect........

After asking some questions about her and getting them answered we felt comfortable to put in for her within a few days we heard word that her birthmom had chose us to adopt her and 1 week later we had her adoption documents in our hands...Two weeks later they were back to the facility to start her adoption process. We then found out we will be Skyping soon. We are so excited for her to finally meet us through Skype. I have sent a large photo album filled... with photos of our family to her and lots of other goodies in her care packages...........
We will keep you all posted.....

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to believe that we even had snow this year let alone Dec. 26th. We got about 3-4 inches and the little ones enjoyed it for a little bit... Too cold even for them... Lets hope January and February does not bring us more.
We had some last Jan..... So twice in one year is plenty for all of us....

Merry Christmas 2010

We all had a beautiful Christmas. Tyler showed up around 4:45 am after getting off duty to arouse the little ones out of bed... World record complete wrath of unwrapping gifts by 6am. UGH!!!! I have to say we enjoyed every minute of it... We can hardly wait to share another Christmas together next year... Next year we will have added our last addition to the Family. This will be her 1st Christmas one in which we will be thankful to have had with her.... To my kiddos and my hubby thanks for a Fabulous Christmas together.... Love to all.
